An organic ferromagnetic fullerene complex was prepared based on C-60 with
tetrakisidmethylaminoethylene (TDAE). Temperature dependent X-band ESR meas
urements on the TDAE-C-60 samples show strong single-line spectra without a
ny hint to a hyperfine splitting. Magnetization measurements indicate ferro
magnetic ordering below 16 K in all investigated TDAE-C-60 samples. After l
eaving TDAE-C-60 powder in a sealed quartz tube with He for 8 weeks the zer
o-field magnetization strongly increased. Typical extrinsic magnetic proper
ties characterizing a ferromagnetic material such as hysteresis, coercivity
and remanence were found at low temperatures.
