Abstract
A synthetic route for a new conjugated polymer, poly(2,6-quinoline vinylene ) (PQV) is presented. The UV-Vis absorption spectrum of polymer showed lamb da(max) at 430 nm and the fluorescence maximum was observed at 515 nm by us ing 430 nm excitation wavelength. Polymer light-emitting diodes (LEDs), con structed with ITO/PQV/Al configuration, showed broad emission with lambda(m ax) at 530 nm.
