Abstract
CuO/polypyrrole (CuO/PPy) and CeO2/polypyrrole (Ceo(2)/PPy) heterostructure s were obtained using the oxide films as redox initiators of pyrrole in-sit u polymerization. The continuous CuO and network CeO2 films were obtained b y thermal decomposition of 2-ethyl-hexanoate precursors, by the Metallorgan ic Decomposition (MOD) technique. The polypyrrole layer profile depends upo n the morphological features of the oxide film.
