Abstract
We have synthesized two calix[4]arenes modified at their upper rims by M-su bstituted pyrrole moieties. This paper reports the first electrochemical ho mopolymerization of such calix[4]arenes. The films growth is fairly good an d the obtained polymers are stable to electrochemical cycling. But, electro chemistry does not allow the detection of complexation of akalines cations by these calix[4]arenes immobilized at an electrode.
