Abstract
In this paper we report the synthesis and the characterization of the monom ers required for the preparation of different kinds of calibrated covalent conducting gels. These, gels consist of well defined and regioregular oligo octylthiophenes connected by tri-meta-substituted benzene. The preparation of the first gel is also reported as well as the first characterizations.
