Abstract
Novel dimeric-TSF donors with an alkylene or alkylenedithio single spacer g
roup have been synthesized. The electrochemical investigation indicated tha
t their monocationic and dicationic states are stabilized by through-space
interaction attributable to a folded U-shape conformation. They formed seve
ral semiconductive charge-transfer complexes and radical cation salts.
