Abstract
In expectation of a first single-component organic metal, several spiro com pounds bearing each of tetrathiafulvalenyl and benzo groups were now synthe sized, one of which exhibited high room-temperature electrical conductivity (sigma(n) ,ca. 10(-3) S.cm(-1)) on the compressed pellet.
