Abstract
Electron donors 4,5-(1,4-dioxanediyl-2,3-dithio)-4',5 '-ethylenedithiotetra thiafulvalene (DOET) and 4,5;4',5'-bis(1,4-dioxanediyl-2,3-dithio)tetrathia fulvalene (BDDT) have been synthesized and their molecular and crystal stru ctures have been solved. DOET and BDDT were shown to have bath conformation s. Radical cation salts based on these donors have been prepared. The struc ture of the organic metal (DOET)(2)HSO4 has been determined.
