Abstract
Polysilanes are known to be promising hole transport materials among conduc ting polymers. Their structure can be better controlled bq using single dis persed oligomers. Recently an oligosilane (Me(SiMe2)(10)Me) is found to sho w a mesophase (SB) In the mesophase, we have observed unusual negative temp erature dependence of photocurrent, This can be explained by temperature de pendent molecular orientation. which has been confirmed by polarized UV abs orption spectroscopy.
