S. Sadki et al., Electrochemical characterization of dissolved poly(N-alkylcarbazole) and charge transfer complex of carbazole derivatives, SYNTH METAL, 101(1-3), 1999, pp. 477-478
The aim of this work was to deal with the reductive chemical synthesis of s
oluble poly(N-alkylcarbazole) (PCZ) derivatives. The polymers obtained were
fractionned by successive solubilization in order to increase the molecula
r mass and to decrease the polymolecularity. Furthermore fractionned polyme
rs present a good electrochemical reversibility and cyclability.
Charge transfer complex (CTC) were formed between poly(N-butylcarbazole) Pb
uCz or 9,9' diethyl 3,3' dicarbazyl DEC and organic electron accepters such
as TCNE, TNF were characterized by optical spectroscopy and differential s
canning calorimetry.
