Abstract
A series of compounds based on biphenyl structures, which show a low tenden cy to crystallize and exhibit electroluminescence is introduced. Investigat ions on their properties as light emitting layer in combination with differ ent phthalocyanines as hole transport layer in organic light emitting diode s are presented.
