Abstract
A series of phenylene vinylene oligomers containing from 1 to 6 phenylene r ings was studied by absorption, Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopies. The results are discussed by examining the influence of chain length on th e spectra and compared to those of PPV films obtained from the Wessling pre cursor route.
