Abstract
Polyaniline has been doped with a new class of protonating agents, namely e
sters of S-sulfoisophthalic acid. The incorporation of this type of dopants
results in en enhanced solubility of PANI salts. Depending on the protonat
ion medium different type of UV-Vis-NIR spectra are obtained.
