Abstract
The partial least squares modeling based on singular value decomposition wa s applied for the simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of Co(II), NI(II) and Cu(II) as their ammonium 2-amino-1-cyclohexan-1-dithiocarbamate complexes. The latent variable calculation in this partial least squares mo deling is not an iterative technique. The detection limits for Co(II), NI(I I) and Cu(II) were 0.072, 0.021 and 0.063 mu g/ml, respectively. The applic ation of the method was confirmed by analysis of these metals in sample all oys.
