The paper presents lipid spectrum in 40 patients aged 19-50 years with migr
aine, Migraine is one of the possible causes of stroke development at young
age. There were found significant atherogenic changes of blood serum lipid
spectrum, which didn't depend on clinical peculiarities of the disease, bu
t became more pronounced as far as the level of the situational anxiety (ac
cording to Spilberger's questionnaire) increased. It,is suggested that the
changes in lipid spectrum may be some components in complex alterations of
the functions: of structures of limbic-reticular complex and humoral-endocr
ine homeostasis' which are both genetically determined and acquired, These
changes are quite important in pathogenesis of migraine and may be consider
d as the risk-factors of the development of cerebral stroke at young age.
