Abstract
The title compound, C34H72N12P4, consists Of a chair-shaped cyclic tetramer ic phosphazene ring with six bulky piperidino and two ethylamino side group s. The two ethylamino side groups are in trans positions. The bulky substit uents are instrumental in determining the eight-membered-ring conformation. The endocyclic N-P-N angles, which have different substituents, are not th e same as the P-N-P angles of the macrocyclic ring.
