Abstract
The title compound, C20H25NO2S, is under investigation for potential retino id-receptor activity. The molecular conformation is approximately planar, w ith five methyl groups projecting from the mean plane. Twofold disorder of the methylene groups of the tetrahydrotetramethyl residue was detected and satisfactorily modelled.
