Abstract
The so-called DUS-testing contains the tests connected with distinctne ss (D), uniformity (U) and stability (S) of varieties. Among them the distinctness has a main role and its reliability is depends on the acu rateness of the data capture. The preliminary evaluation of variety id entification of sunflower in July is studied in relation with the summ er data capture according to the UPOV character list.
