Abstract
Seven phthalimides (1) under bar - (7) under bar have been prepared by heating phthalic anhydride with appropriate arylamines. The structure s of these compounds were verified by their H-1-NMR spectra. Their ele ctron-impact fragmentation patterns have been investigated. Compounds (4) under bar - (6) under bar - are new.
