Abstract
Solid-solid state condensation reaction of p-hydroxybezaldehyde and p-chlor oaniline was conducted at low-heating temperature. The reaction product was proved to be the corresponding Schiff base. TG-DTA and XRD measurements we re performed to investigate the solid-solid state reaction process. It is f airly definite that the reaction is diffusion-controlled.
