Abstract
A fibre optic bandpass transversal filter employing fibre grating arrays is presented. The demonstrated device allows bandpass filtering frequency res ponse tuning by changing the operating wavelength to select the operating f ibre gratings. The improved frequency response of the filter is obtained by weighting the reflections of the gratings.
