Abstract
(1S,2R)- and (1R,2S)-1-phenyl-2-(1-pyrrolidinyl)-1-propanol catalyzes the e nantioselective addition of dialkylzincs to aromatic aldehydes to afford en antiomerically enriched aromatic sec-alcohols with up to 92% enantiomeric e xcess.
