Abstract
Molecular imprinting of nicotine was performed using an acidic functio nal monomer 2-(trifluoromethyl)acrylic acid (TFMAA). Chromatographic s tudies using the resultant polymers as stationary phases displayed tha t nicotine-selective affinity induced by the use of TFMAA was greater than that induced by the use of a conventional functional monomer meth acrylic acid.
