Abstract
Active transport of the siderophore ferrioxamine B by the ionizable ionopho re lasalocid, driven by the pH difference in two aqueous phases separated b y an artificial membrane, was observed with an average flux of 1.52 x 10(-1 1) mol s(-1) cm(-2).
