Abstract
We evaluate the mode of action of verbascoside obtained from Buddleja corda ta against Staphylococcus aureus by killing kinetics and incorporation of p recursors methods. Verbascoside induced lethal effect on S. aureus, by affe cting protein synthesis and inhibiting leucine incorporation. (C) 1999 Else vier Science Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
