Abstract
An in-situ cell for catalytic studies on elements with X-ray absorption edg es between 1300<E<3000 eV (Mg to Cl) has been designed and constructed at b eamline 3.4 of SRS Daresbury (UK). The apparatus consists of a vacuum vesse l, that contains a replaceable sealed in-situ cell. Dimensions of the in-si tu cell are small, which results in a low absorption of the X-ray beam.
