Pulsed dye laser treatment is well established for the treatment of port-wi ne stains and ether vascular skin lesions. Although hyperpigmentation is qu ite common, other side effects such as hypopigmentation and atrophic scarri ng occur infrequently, and hypertrophic scarring is rare.
