Abstract
A new mu-hydroxo diiron(II) complex [Fe2L(OH)](3+) obtained with a dinuclea ting macrocyclic ligand catalyzes the selective oxidation of cyclohexane in to cyclohexanol (approximate to 85%) using the controlled addition of tert- butylhydro-peroxide.
