Abstract
The first terephthalato (TPT) bis-tridentate bridging cadmium coordination polymer, [(TPT)(py)Cd] 1, with blue fluorescent emission, was synthesized b y a hydrothermal reaction between Cd(ClO4)(2). 6H(2)O, 1,4-dicyanobenzene a nd pyridine (py).
