Abstract
Questions that arise in attempting to apply algorithmic methods of signal w aveform recovery in measurement of the peak power and time parameters of op tical pulses in the subnano- and picosecond range are considered. These met hods and the measuring devices that make use of them for purposes of photom etry are described.
