Abstract
In this paper, we use the intrinsic properties of a two-dimensional rectang ular and three-dimensional parallelepipedic lattice photonic bandgap (PBG) material to design a cover antenna. We demonstrate the interest in such a d evice for inn-easing the directivity of a patch antenna. (C) 1999 John Wile y & Sons, Inc.
