Here we propose an algorithm for mathematical processing of the primary dat
a on DNA hybridization on an oligonucleotide microchip, obviating most fals
e positives. Such errors are revealed by the absence of the corresponding o
verlapping oligonucleotide signals. The screen efficiency depending on the
length of oligonucleotide and DNA probe as well as the initial number of fa
lse positives was evaluated in theory and by computer simulation.
