Abstract
A new triterpenoid, namely, lanost-25-en-3-beta-ol, and two known flavonoid s (kaempferol-3,6-dimethyl ether and kaempferol 7-O-glucoside) were isolate d from the aerial parts of Chamaesyce prostrate (Euphorbiaceae). The struct ure of the new compound was established based on spectral evidences.
