Abstract
Starting from 9-amino-N-picrylcarbazole, the nitro-, cyano-, bromo- and dib romo-derivatives of the title compound, and the corresponding free radicals , were synthesized. The pK(a) values and the redox properties of the compou nds synthesized were reported.
