Abstract
One year after the first slab, the operating results of the first applicati on of the Danieli United technology for the production of quality thin slab s in an integrated steel complex demonstrate that it is possible, with adeq uate technology, to produce thin slabs with the same quality as conventiona l slabs, or superior.
