Abstract
The electroformation of the tetrasulfonated nickel phthalocyanine (NiTSPc) film in alkaline solution onto carbon fiber microelectrode is investigated in order to improve the electrochemical detection of nitric oxide (NO) in s olution. We compare in this study the sensitivity of a carbon fiber microel ectrode coated by nickel phthalocyanine deposited either by cyclic voltamme try or by controlled potential electrolysis at +1.2 V/SCE with a previously reported nickel porphyrin modified electrode. We show that the phthalocyan ine film formed by cyclic voltammetry gives a modified microelectrode with a good sensitivity to NO, higher than the obtained one with nickel phthaloc yanine and/or porphyrin deposited by controlled: potential electrolysis.
