Abstract
Primary TMS or TES ethers, in the presence of secondary TMS or TES ethers, are selectively oxidized to the corresponding aldehydes under Swern conditi ons. A short synthesis of key intermediates towards various natural product s has been achieved. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
