Abstract
Varicocele is an essential part of andrological urology. Due to its frequen cy and to the problems connected with it, varicocele became a subject of in terest at an early stage in the history of medicine. Questions arose as to how the changes and the consequences resulting from this condition should b e treated. Even today, some questions regarding the etiopathology and thera py of varicocele remain unanswered.
