Application of oximes for the transfer of a C-H fragment

We report here on the synthesis of O-dialkoxymethyloximes from the correspo nding oximes and the appropriate trialkyl orthoformate. The products were a pplied as the sources of C-H fragment which was then transferred to the sel ected molecules.
