Abstract
In the solution polymerization of an inhibitor containing methyl methacryla te in toluene initiated by dibenzoyl peroxide, the addition of a quaternary ammonium chloride reduces the lag time and decreases thy polymerization ra te. The complex mixture formed from the inhibitor in this reaction system s eems responsible for these effects.
