Abstract
The homogeneity of experimental groups before an experiment is general ly sought by randomisation. But the risk of composing groups showing d ifferences for one variable or more is important. A technique using a cluster analysis is proposed, assuring that samples are as equal as po ssible. Measures of some variables are necessary before the experiment and this limit is discussed.
