Abstract
Neurological complications during correction of scoliosis remain a rare but very severe event. Prevention by analysis of risk factors pre-operatively and assessment of complications per-operatively could be done using wake-up test and evocated potential monitoring, to emphasize short term prevention of these complications. A clear information must be given to the patient a nd his family before such an operation.
