Abstract
62 Chernobyl wreckers with erosive gastroduodenitis (50 cases) and ulc er (12 cases) were admitted to hospital where they received standard d rugs and local He-Ne laser treatment of erosions and ulcer located in tile antral stomach and duodenal bulb. Histological, bacterioscopic, m orphometric and immunohistochemical examinations have identified chron ic inflammation acid disturbance of local immunity. Aftertreatment epi thelization of erosions was not accompanied by normalization of morpho metric and immunohistochemical parameters. This suggests a high risk o f recurrences.
