Abstract
A potentiometric titration procedure that makes use of Gran's method for en d-point detection has been developed to analyze acid-soluble chloride in ce ment, mortar, and concrete, eliminating the filtration steps performed in h abitual laboratory reference methods. The accuracy and reliability of the p roposed analytical technique has been checked against a standard method; su ch as Volhard's, by analyzing duplicate samples of cements, mortars, and co ncretes with varied chloride contents.
