Abstract
Aliquots of waste water from power stations were analyzed by a FT-IR spectr oscopic procedure and showed both qualitatively and quantitatively the pres ence of cyclohexylamine and morpholine. The detection limit and the sensiti vity of the method were investigated and the validity of the Lambert-Beer l aw was checked. To maintain the selectivity of the method the pH must be ma intained around 6.
