Skin is the most commonly affected organ in patients with HIV. As such, cut
aneous manifestations of HIV infection have been the subject of intense scr
utiny as well as the topic of many articles. A broad range of infectious an
d noninfectious skin lesions may develop during the course of the disease.
This article discusses the clinical and pathological cutaneous manifestatio
ns of HIV infection.
