Abstract
We tried to characterize Eimeria mulardi and Eimeria danailovi, two co ccidia of the duck, from their enzymatic profile (thin starch gel elec trophoresis). As a reference, we used Eimeria acervulina, a coccidian parasite of the chicken already studied by several authors. Four enzym atic loci were selected, GPI, LDH, PGM and NP. Three of the enzymes, i .e. GPI, LDH and PGM allowed the specific diagnosis of Eimeria mulardi from Eimeria danailovi.
