Abstract
Subtilisin E gene was mutagenized in vitro as a model in one-round mut agenesis with multiple chemical-synthesized bed mutagenic oligonucleot ides. The rationale of the new method is suggested. The elements that influence the mutant efficiency stich as the type, amount, distributio n and mutual location oi primers, and the primer ra template molar rat io are discussed.
