Abstract
4-Benzyloxy-3-nitrobenzoyl hydrazine (2) has been synthesized and cyclized with carbon disulphide/KOH to get oxadiazolines (3) which on aminomethylati on furnished the title compounds (4-7) in good yields. Compounds (3,4,5,7) have shown promising antileishmanial activity.
