Abstract
The microwave-heated reaction between PhC drop CH and [6,6,6-(PPh3)(2)H-nid o-6-IrB9H13] gives [2-(eta(6)-C6H3Ph3)-closo-2-IrB9H6-10(PPh3)] (29%) and t hereby demonstrates acetylene trimerisation on a metallaborane matrix. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
